Contemporary works, for example, are too often set in archaeological sites or ancient churches which are used just like suggestive locations. Or we find exhibitions associating Renaissance masters and living artists purely based on formal similarities. A smarter way<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">to relate<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">antique and contemporary<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">is<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">instead<\/span><span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">what you can<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">see<\/span>\u00a0in the\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">exhibition titled<\/span><span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">\u00a0<\/span>\u201c<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">Candida<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">H\u00f6fer<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">for the Galleria<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">Borghese\u201d (until September 15<\/span><span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">at the Galleria<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">Borghese<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">in Rome)<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">Seven<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">photographic works<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">by the artist<\/span><span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">Candida<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">H\u00f6fer<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">reproduce the<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">original reconstruction of<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">the Borghese collection<\/span>, made possible\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">by a previous exhibition,<\/span>\u00a0\u201c<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">The<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">Borgheseand the ancient\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">(December<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">2011 &#8211; April 2012<\/span>),\u00a0<span class=\"yiv4441968207hps\">which gave back to the Gallery the most important masterpieces of the art collection that belonged to the old one, for the most part collected by Cardinal Scipione Borghese in the early seventeenth century.
