Of the nine lots, all sold, two went within the estimates (both works of Andreas Gursky ), whereas the other seven lots fetched higher prices than expected. Worth to mention is a work by Thomas Struth &#8220;San Zaccaria , Venice&#8221; which came close to \u00a3 700.000, with an estimate of \u00a3 150-200.000. A new appointment with the German photographer is expected on November 15, for the next round of Sotheby&#8217;s auction in Paris.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>His work, titled <a title=\"Thomas Struth\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sothebys.com\/en\/auctions\/2013\/photographies-pf1320.html#&amp;i=0\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Mus\u00e9e du Louvre, Paris, 1989&#8221;<\/a> (estimated \u20ac 140.000 to 180.000), will certainly be long disputed in Paris. However, what is even more interesting for us is that this piece seems to sum up most of the philosophy on which Conceptual Fine Arts is centred.
